As a Vetting Analyst with SIRRAS Consultants you will assess personnel, identify risks, and make critical determinations that directly impacts the capability of the Australian Government and Defence workforce. The role is full-time permanent at our office in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane QLD.

The Role

Working within a highly professional, collaborative team, you will conduct complex personnel vetting assessments for security clearance candidates.

You will analyse a candidate’s unique life history, connecting pieces of financial, personal, and professional data to provide in-depth reports and recommendations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Methodically analyse complex, sensitive security clearance applications.
• Identify gaps, anomalies and explore potential risks in line with government security guidelines.
• Conduct critical interviews with applicants and referees.
• Prepare clear, well-structured assessment reports and recommendations.

• Criminology, Intelligence Analysis, or Counter-Terrorism

Mandatory Criteria

To be eligible to join our mission, you must meet the following criteria:

• Australian Citizenship is essential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to successfully complete a Certificate IV in Government Security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
